Bath & Body Works officially opened a new 3,232-square-foot store near Palomar Trolley on Jan. 9, bringing the brand’s signature fragrances, body care, and home products to another corner of San Diego County.

“As a global leader in fragrance, we’re proud to offer a one-of-a-kind shopping experience and a wide selection of the highest quality products at the right price points for our customers,” said Ron Ford, Bath & Body Works chief stores officer. “Our outstanding store associates are key to delivering the immersive and convenient experience we know our customers love, and our brick-and-mortar footprint remains a successful component of our ongoing strategy.”

The Chula Vista store is part of Bath & Body Works’ domestic network of 1,934 locations across the U.S. and Canada as of November, with 59 percent of its stores located in off-mall settings. The new location provides local shoppers access to the brand’s latest product lines, including the recently announced “N-A-Rose for All” collection of rose-inspired fragrances.

Bath & Body Works was also recognized on Fast Company’s 2025 Brands That Matter list in the Heritage Brands category, which honors companies that demonstrate cultural impact and strong connections with consumers and communities. Fast Co. cited the brand’s consumer-first approach, rapid product launches, and predominantly U.S.-based supply chain.

Founded in 1990, Bath & Body Works now operates more than 2,400 locations worldwide and remains popular among younger consumers.

According to Piper Sandler’s Spring 2025 Teens survey, Bath & Body Works ranks as Gen Z’s top fragrance brand, driven by trend-forward products such as tomato-scented candles, Netflix collaborations, and its expanded Everyday Luxuries line.

The Chula Vista store is open daily.
