¡Viva! El Grito Returns to Downtown Chula Vista
Downtown Chula Vista will once again come alive with color, music, and community pride during El Grito, hosted by the City of Chula Vista. This annual celebration commemorates Mexican Independence Day and honors Mexican heritage with live entertainment and performances, family-friendly activities, food and beverages, and the official Grito conducted by the Consul General of Mexico’s Office in San Diego, Ambassador Kerber-Palma, at 6:45 p.m.
Join the festivities at the Memorial Bowl in Downtown Chula Vista on Sunday, September 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and experience the joy, history, and spirit of El Grito.
