Cinco celebration planned for Saturday
Novo Brazil Brewing Company will host a family-friendly Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday, May 3, at its Eastlake headquarters and taproom. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. at 901 Lane Ave.
Entertainment includes live music by Mariachi Orgullo Nacional, a youth mariachi group, and DJ Cesar Castro. Activities for children will include face painting, cornhole and a bouncy castle.
Food vendors Fuego Marino and Tres Fuegos Cocina will be on-site, along with other local vendors and artists, including Barro y Cera Artisanal Candles.
The San Diego FC match against Dallas will be shown on a large outdoor LED screen beginning at 6:15 p.m.
