Bilateral sewage solution needed
Regarding “Upcoming work on border sewage system may temporarily increase Tijuana River Valley flows” (May 16): I strongly recommend that concerned citizens contact the office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Tell the governor to schedule an urgent meeting with Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda. The purpose of this meeting should be to develop and implement a permanent solution to the Tijuana River Valley sewage crisis, at the earliest possible date.
How much more cross-border pollution must the people of the South Bay endure?
