A sensible change is in order
Trump has many major changes in mind to make in his second term in the White House. A somewhat lesser change which he mentioned first was to eliminate Daylight Savings Time. That has served no useful purpose for decades. It was supposed to help farmers in the past. The population in the U.S. which were farmers, or farm families before WWII was about a third of our smaller population then.
We now have very large farms which are more mechanized than they were once. Imagine how delighted owners of stores which sell clocks, and watches will be not to have to switch times twice a year. Just one time always. There are only a bit over 2% who are farmers in 2025.
